1. Design mold drawings

CAD design: Use computer-aided design software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to carry out three-dimensional modeling of the mold and design the mold structure, cavities, cooling channels, etc.

2. Material selection and material preparation

Material selection: select suitable mold steel (e.g. P20, H13, etc.) according to the use environment of the mold and product characteristics.

Material purchasing: according to the design requirements, purchase suitable raw materials and make sure the quality of materials meets the standard.

3. Processing mold parts

CNC machining: Utilize CNC machine tools to accurately process the mold cavities, cores, and so on.

Electric Discharge Machining (EDM): for machining complex shapes and details to ensure precision.

Grinding machine processing: for fine grinding of molds to improve surface finish.

4. Assemble the mold

Parts Inspection: To inspect the size and surface quality of the processed parts to ensure that they meet the design requirements.

Assembling: assemble the parts (such as cavities, cores, guide components, etc.) according to the design drawings.

5. Mold test and debugging

Mold trial: install the assembled mold on the injection molding machine for trial production, observe the working condition of the mold.

Debugging: According to the results of the trial mold, adjust the parameters of the mold (such as cooling water flow, pressure, etc.) to ensure that the product quality meets the requirements.

6. Final inspection and delivery

Final Inspection: Conduct a comprehensive inspection on the samples produced from the trial production to check the size, appearance and performance.

Delivery: After confirming that there is no error, the mold will be delivered to the customer, and provide relevant instructions and maintenance advice.
